In the world of online beat sales, there are usually 3 main types of licenses/agreements/contracts you will generally come across. They are all similar but different in a few ways. Depending on how much the upfront costs are will determine your rights regarding how much ownership of said beat you are to have access to.

Every license allows you to sell, stream, and use for videos with a limited set amount of sales or streams. You keep 100% of sales until the length of the contract expires. When this happens you will be required to purchase a new contract or extend the length of the (now expired) contract in order to continue collecting your earnings.

I generally lease a beat to artists for a term of 3 years. After 3 years, an extension can be added for half of the initial year per beat rate.

Publishing is always a 50/50 split.

The wav license gives you a single stereo track .wav file. Track-outs give you the .wav plus the individual track stems. Exclusive gives you everything from the other 2 licenses plus exclusive rights for life.The difference is the exclusivity: Wav and track-out licenses will allow other rappers to use the same beat. Exclusive licenses will grant you sole ownership of said beat. You will be the only one that can use the beat going forward.

The samples are made through recording of live instruments (bass, electric guitar, acoustic guitar etc.)with synths and various time stretching/pitch correcting software, together with VST-Plugins to alter (lower) the fidelity - as is the preferable standard in the hiphop industry today.

The sounds and vocals you hear throughout our samples are recorded using various microphones from our collection of 100 different microphones - from high end ribbon and condenser mic formats - to cheap Japanese dynamic mics from the 80’s found at a garage sell - and everything in between. Selected depending on our experience and approach, we set them up in unique positions, placements, patterns, directions, all deliberately to capture a unique sound scape on a track by track basis that has never been heard before. Although the process is extremely time consuming, it is our promise we made to ourselves and our customers who are as passionate as we are, together we will strive to stand out.

In today's world of making music you get low quality sample pack with generic sounds that you seem to hear all over the internet. Same samples, same chord progressions, same choice of vst-plugins. We offer a way to stand apart from all this unoriginal and practically stolen/shared musical creations.

his is the first ever attempt at releasing a Sample Pack by Jacobthewilliam. After 20 years and thousands of recordings, he has collected enough material to pull samples from. In this pack are 200 ORIGINAL loops literally played by Jacob & friends using various real/live instruments that are then meticulously sliced on every transient point - resulting in perfectly stretchable BPM mappings to match your desired tempo. This will be the very first installment of his [griefkit] series of sounds which is Jacob's heartfelt attempt at giving back to the music producer community he owes so much to.

Metaphysical Movements is the second installment within the [griefkits] series. This pack contains a variety of 200+ innovative samples conducted and designed by The Preeminent Crafter of Sound, Jacobthewilliam himself, as part of his desperate campaign to subsidize his earnings so that one day he can finally quit his current mundane, unhealthy job at a fiberglass shop that he hates so much. But also, to encourage each of you to follow your dreams in life - because only then can you become your true and absolute SELF.

The first ever drum kit compiled by jacobthewilliam, is third in the [griefkits] series, This drum kit features 200 individual percussion hits played/performed using real instrumentation on various different drum kits. It was recorded in numerous environments using an assortment of high-end microphones arranged in both standard and unique placements/setups. This is potentially the most original drum kit you might ever come across and will instantly make your sound unique.
